Recitals and Studio Classes
Recitals
Recitals are a studio event that occurs twice per year. They are a wonderful opportunity to ‘strut your stuff’ for your friends and family! All students, all ages, ability, and instrument, perform in the studio recital. Parents, family, friends, and the general public are invited. This event is free to attend. There is a very small ‘recital fee’ for the performers that covers the cost of the venue. There will be a ‘bring a dish’ potluck reception following the recital.
Studio Class for Singers
Studio Class for singers meets once a month. Singers sing for each other, get to know one another, and learn how to critique and be critiqued. This is an unparalleled opportunity for vocal and musical growth, one usually available only to voice majors. It also provides you with another venue for honest feedback about your voice. Try to attend as many Studio Classes as possible. Please make it your goal to come to all of them. Accompaniment will be provided. Coffee and tea will be available. Snacks will be rotated among the singers.
